Contemporary furniture is the newest addition to the dryads line. We use the beautiful reclaimed wood with the authentic paint to create the patched together surfaces. We plane the wood down so it is smooth and then add a coat or two of heavy matte lacquer. The welded steel frame makes the furniture very strong and durable. We hand sand the steel to soften the edges and then patina to an antique bronze. Since we do all the metal fabrication in house we can make custom pieces.

Rustic wood meets contemporary furniture. The warmth of antique wood makes a nice complement to the contemporary lines of the dryad furniture line. This is a "green" line of furniture you can live with. The bed has a welded steel frame and interlocking steel rail stays for strength. The antique wood with its warm patina is protected from rough surfaces and chipping with a heavy coating of matte lacquer.
You can order the headboard only and it will have plates with hardware to attach to a bedframe. we don't supply the frame. If you order the complete bed it has a footboard and siderails and 4 slats. The king size also has adjustable supports under the middle slats.
